What Sets Our Team Apart

01 / discipline

Our competition team embodies disciplined training and unwavering commitment. We train at the highest level, hold each athlete accountable, and cultivate the mental toughness required to excel on the mat.

Ready to compete?

  • Students on the competition team are expected to attend at least 3 classes each week.

Competition team members are expected to arrive prepared: fingernails trimmed, gi clean, and properly hydrated. Come with a positive attitude ready to train hard. As leaders in our academy, you must set the example for others—help fellow students, lead warm-ups when asked, and demonstrate respect and encouragement toward training partners. Your commitment and character should inspire the entire team.

  • Comp team students should attend at least 3 conditioning sessions each week. These take place after kids class Monday-Thursday from 6:00pm - 6:30pm.

Outside training can be an exception - see our Comp Team coaches to discuss.

  • For competition, the students are required to have:

    • High Ground GI

    • High Ground Rash Guard

    • High Ground Shorts

    • Comp Team Hoodie
